Barry's ghost hunter programs are an absolute delight! We have been hosting him at the Mark Twain Library  in Redding, CT for 5 straight years now, and I plan to continue having him back every year. His lectures are always very popular at our library because they are highly engaging and interactive; his tremendous passion and enthusiasm for the subject matter shine through every time he presents. During his presentations, he also spends a lot of time answering questions and listening to participants' ghost stories; many of our patrons love to share their own experiences with the group. Barry Pirro’s program brought in possibly one of the biggest crowds we’ve had at our tiny library, and Barry certainly did not disappoint! "I've been booking programs at the Rye Free Reading Room for many years now and Barry's ghost hunting presentation was unquestionably the most compelling, riveting and thought-provoking I've been involved with. His encyclopedic knowledge of his subject is paired with his ability to share his experiences in a genuine way -- stripping away the 'whoo hooo' factor that eye-rollers would expect with this topic. Barry shared countless anecdotes of the various cases he's worked on. A highlight of the talk was the numerous recordings of the spirits he's encountered in his work. He didn't make the presentation about him, but rather about the subject matter at hand. People arrived super early to tell him of their experiences as he was setting up, and the program ran long past the allotted time as audience members stayed past closing time to ask questions and to share their true ghost stories. I hope to have him back. It was a singular pleasure."

Barry Pirro’s “Ghost Hunting 101” seminar was THE most entertaining program held at
the Lewisboro Library this year! His presentation, complete with visual aids and EVP
recordings, totally engaged the audience for the 60 plus minutes he spoke. Barry’s casual speaking style and sharing of personal stories lent itself to the feeling of “friends
exchanging ghost tales,” rather than someone lecturing the audience. The program ended up running about 2 hours, because Barry graciously stayed afterwards to speak with several audience members who wanted to continue the exchange.
We can’t wait to have “The Connecticut Ghost Hunter” back again for future
programs.

Spots to attend Ghosting Hunting 101 were in such high demand that we had people happily standing in the aisles eager to catch every word.  Barry recants his experiences and investigations so vividly that everyone present can't help but to be completely absorbed.  The slides and EVP samples are the perfect chilling addition to this immersive presentation. Weeks later, both patrons and library staff members are still sharing and discussing their favorite moments from that evening.  We will definitely be inviting Barry back and can't wait to hear his latest experiences!

"Barry came to Bronxville Public Library this past April for his Ghost Hunting 101 lecture, and I had him investigate our resident library ghosts. Barry’s program and investigation was absolutely fantastic! We had a large turnout and rave reviews from all that attended.
